World Peace Passport's cultural understanding curriculum encourages children to be proud of their own culture and heritage while gaining a deeper understanding and respect for other cultures and beliefs.

Kindergarten - Grade 8 curriculum centers around 4 basic principles of cultural understanding:

1. Understanding Culture
2. Breaking Down Stereotypes
3. Respecting Cultural Differences
4. Celebrating Diversity

As travel provides an exciting gateway to new countries and experiences, we have creatively designed our program around a "travel theme". Our textbooks look like passports and as students complete lessons they receive stamps in their passports to mark their successful "cultural travels" around the world.

The program consists of:

• 9 passports, one for each grade from K - Grade 8.
• 16 lessons per passport - a total of 144 lessons for the 9 grades.
• Detailed lesson plans that outlines participatory teaching and learning methodologies now established as best practice in education - classes are fun, dynamic and interactive, use discussion and debate, role-play, pairing-and-sharing and group learning.
• Kits in the shape of a suitcase hold passports, teachers' guides, arts and crafts materials and posters making this a self-contained study program for any school anywhere in the world.

Lessons are brought to life by Globee, a curious fun-loving bee from the faraway land of "Bumble" who buzzes from country to country, wearing his heart on his wings and spreading friendship and goodwill. Globee sends colorful and educational postcards from different countries that become part of the children's lesson plans.
